Furryfitness and Furrypeeps Puppy are the trading names of Furrypeeps Ltd, a UK company number 13094012, registered at Garrards, Cowfold Road, West Grinstead, West Sussex, RH13 8LY.
Definitions
- “Furryfitness and the Furrypeeps Puppy app”: Software applications designed for mobile devices
- “Website”: https://furrypeeps.co.uk
- “User”: Contracting party of Furryfitness or the Furrypeeps Puppy apps
- “Products”:
- services you can use (including services delivered to you through firmware, apps, websites and in other ways) and for which you may or may not pay a fee;
- consumables (including food and treats) which may be given to you in the form of prizes.
- devices you can buy, be given or otherwise acquire.
In App Purchases
The Furrypeeps puppy app is available to download free-of-charge from the App Store (for iOS devices) and Google Play (for Android). It is available for one month free of charge and thereafter it is subject to a monthly subscription. Please refer to the App Store or Google Play for current subscription rates. No credit card details are captured by or passed to Furrypeeps Limited. Payment information is captured by and held by the third-party from whom you downloaded our app.
We grant you the right to access and use our app under our General Terms of Use (which includes our Privacy Policy), any additional terms may apply, any terms applied by the third-party from whom you downloaded our app, and the terms below:
- To make use of our app you must have and maintain access to a compatible smartphone.
- You must be using a smartphone model made by Apple, Google, HTC, Huawei, LG, Motorola, Samsung or Sony; and
- Your phone model must have been first released no more than five years before the date on which you attempt to use our app; and
- Your phone must be running either the latest or the immediately preceding major version of the iOS or Android operating systems. You may sometimes be restricted to using an earlier version of our app, or may not be able to access certain features, if you are not using the latest version of one of these operating systems
If your phone is from another manufacturer, was first released over five years ago, or is running an older OS version, our app (or an earlier version of it) will very probably still work.
Other computing devices
Sorry, but we don’t officially support the Furrypeeps Puppy app on tablets, laptops, desktop PCs or anything other than the compatible smartphones described above. If you try to use the Furrypeeps Puppy app with any of these other devices, it might work, but we won’t be able to offer you any support for it.
Privacy
Furrypeeps is committed to safeguarding and preserving the privacy of our client’s data. Our privacy policy applies to information that we hold in relation to you. Your acceptance of these terms includes this policy. We may need to communicate with you to provide you with a service you ask for. If so, you may not be able to opt out of this communication whilst still receiving the service.
Security
If you create an account with us, or we provide you with one, you are
responsible for all activity through your account. We are not responsible if other people access your account with or without your permission. We ask you to choose a strong and unique password, keep it secret, and not re-use it anywhere else.
Ownership
We respect others’ rights and ask you to do the same. Nothing in the
relationship between you and us – or your use of our products – transfers the ownership of any information or intellectual property (IP) between you and us.
Our trademarks, software, knowledge and all other IP continues to belong to us; your information and IP continues to belong to you; and information and IP belonging to others continues to belong to them. If you provide any data or other information to us or upload it via our products, you warrant that you have the right to do so, and that you can and do grant us the rights to use it in accordance with our privacy policy.
Our liability
We make every reasonable and professional effort to ensure our products function as you would expect they should, that they are safe and accurate, and that they continue to work and be available to you whenever you require them. However, our products are provided to you “as is”, and you are solely responsible for the use(s) you make of them and the outcome(s) that result. In particular, information provided by and through our products is for guidance only. We require you to use good judgement in using our products and in choosing whether or not to apply or follow any advice, guidelines, instructions or recommendations you may receive from or through them or us. You are responsible for the health of your pet. We may modify, or temporarily or permanently withdraw our products at any time. There may also be bugs and unexpected outages. Whilst we will try to warn you about these things (including in advance if possible), we cannot promise to do so. If we recommend, point you at or redirect you to a third-party product or source of information, we take no responsibility for your possible use of that product or information, and you should be aware that it may be governed by separate terms. To the extent permitted by law, we make no formal promises about the fitness, performance, accuracy, safety, correctness or any other characteristic of our products or your use of them, nor about their continued availability. Our liability to you (including for any direct or indirect losses you may suffer) is limited to the price you paid for our products.
Termination
You may terminate this agreement at any time by closing your account or, if you do not have an account, by letting us know on
furrypeepsenquiries@gmail.com and stopping your use of our products. We may suspend your access to our products or terminate this agreement and withdraw our permission for you to use our products if we believe you haven’t complied with these terms. If your access is suspended or this agreement is terminated by you or us, your personal data will continue to be governed by our privacy policy. If you don’t comply with these terms, and we fail to take action, that doesn’t mean we’ve given up our rights. And if one of these terms isn’t enforceable, the others will still apply.
Changes
We may make changes to these terms in the future. If we do so, thi page will be updated, the date of the changes being recorded. We ask that you please check our terms and conditions on a regularly basis to ensure that you still agree with those terms.
Steps
The ‘steps taken’ and ‘distance travelled’ will be based on the steps taken on the user’s device. The steps taken will therefore be indicative and not wholly accurate for the steps taken by the pet.
Calories
The Furrypeeps apps calculates 0.8 calorie burned per pound per mile. The Furrypeeps apps are converting the pet’s weight into pounds and the walk distance into miles before calculating the calories burned.
Location permission
The Furrypeeps apps need the location access permission enabled so that we can accurately track your walk even when the app is in the background while you are on a walk with your pet.
Camera permission
The Furrypeeps apps need access to the camera on your phone to allow you to take a photo to set as a profile picture for both yourself and your pet. The photo will only be stored on your device and not uploaded to any server.
Photo gallery permission
The Furrypeeps apps need access to the gallery on your phone to allow you to set a profile picture for both yourself and your pet using photos already stored on your device and held in your photo gallery. The photo will only be stored on your device and not uploaded to any server.
